crosstown open source learning community

I'm happy to introduce another local Open Source Learning community.  Hiya, Mr. Ostini's World Literature!  Check out the posts (this one is my favorite) and the member blogs, and feel free to comment on students' work.  They just wrote essays on Antigone.

  1. I just want to say that open source learning is a very fun and different way to do things. I would like to give you some pointers on how you should post things to your blog..

    1. Whenever you can you should post pictures to your blog post that is relevant to what you are writing about.

    2. Make your blog YOU, let your personality show through it.

    3. If you learn something or you are talking about something in class post your opinion on it on your blog. Write about how you feel about the topic (in a good way/bad way, however you feel towards it).

    4. You want to go above and beyond in your writing, because your course blog it's just being viewed by people in your class.. It's being viewed by people all around the world.

  2. This is a different way of learning, but its easy to actually have fun with it. while doing this make sure it represents YOU as long as its appropriate of course. Have fun with yet but make sure you give it your 100% effort because MILLIONS of people can see your blog. And i Don't say that to make you feel intimidated but to actually motivate you to try your very best possible. Help each other ! unless you are already familiar with Blogspot its going to take a while to adjust to it so your going to have to help each other out. This isn't like any other class you've taken, so have fun with it ! (:
